MS Amadolce

The AmaDolce set new standards for European river cruising when it was launched in 2009, and to date this ship, designed and built under the watchful eyes of Europe’s top hospitality providers in the continent’s most premier shipyards in Holland, remains state-of-the-art. What makes sailing on the 360-foot (or 108-meter) AmaDolce a more pleasant experience than sailing on many other ships is the extra room. Two spacious lounges provide panoramic views of the passing shores, as does the glassed-in Wellness Area (combination Fitness Center and Massage and Beauty Parlor). In addition to this facility, guests may also use any of the 25 bicycles on board to stay in shape while checking out any of the intermediate stops. At mealtimes, there is no limit on the number of glasses of wine that can be taken. Elevators allow for handicap access. All staterooms feature “Infotainment Centers” that include not only television, but a movie and music library, as well as internet access. The rooms with French balconies are particularly recommended.
