The Lenin remains one of the finest vessels on Russia's waterways because it is overhauled every year. It carries 266 passengers from one of Russia's major cities to another. Onboard facilities include a restaurant and two bars, a souvenir shop, a library, a hairdressers, a piano bar, an observation lounge and a sun deck. There is also a medical office. The ship is fully air-conditioned.

The cabins on all decks have fully opening windows, showers and bathrooms, refrigerators and air conditioning and ample closet space.
