Day 1
Arrival in St. Petersburg -
Welcome to St. Petersburg - the crown jewel of Russia and one of the world's most beautiful cities! Upon arrival your driver picks you up at the airport and transfers you to the river port to board the MS Lev Tolstoy. In the evening you enjoy Welcome Dinner on board and have the rest of the day free.
Day 2
St. Petersburg City Tour & Visit to the Hermitage Museum -
During your panoramic city tour around the most famous St. Petersburg attractions, you visit the Peter and Paul Fortress and go inside the Peter and Paul Cathedral. After lunch you visit the Hermitage, where your guide shows you the best rooms and halls of this world-renowned museum. After the tour you return on board.
Day 3
Optional Trip to Peterhof -
This day is free for you to explore St. Petersburg on your own or join our optional tour to the outskirts of the city to see the former summer residence of Russian tsars and the gem of palace architecture - Peterhof. You can also take an optional rivers and canals boat ride. In the evening you return on board and your cruise starts.
Day 4
Stop in Mandrogi -
Today you make a stop in Mandrogi, where you explore original wooden houses, traditional Russian bakeries, and crafts exhibitions and have some free time to buy authentic Russian souvenirs. Later you enjoy a traditional Russian picnic ashore with shashlik (meat kebab) made on the grill. After the tour you return on board.
Day 5
Stop at Kizhi -
Today you walk through the island of Kizhi and see its famous Pogost with the massive Transfiguration Church built without a single nail, superb windmills and ancient Russian wooden houses, and visit a beautiful Intercession Church. After the tour you return on board.
Day 6
Stop in Goritsy -
This day you enjoy a guided walking Goritsy tour and visit its historic Resurrection convent, a local school and a local house. After the tour you return to your ship.
Day 7
Stop in Yaroslavl & Rostov the Great -
Today you have a bus city tour of Yaroslavl with visits to the Saviour-Transfiguration monastery, the church of St. Nicolas the Wonder-Worker and the territory of Possad. Later you are transferred to Rostov the Great to enjoy a panoramic bus city tour, that includes visits to the Kremlin territory and the Assumption Cathedral. After the tour you return to your ship.
Day 8
Stop in Uglich -
Today you make a stop in Uglich and visit the Church of St. Dimitry-on-Blood, the Kremlin territory and the Transfiguration Cathedral. After the tour you return to your ship.
Day 9
Moscow City Tour -
Today you arrive in Moscow - the gorgeous capital of Russia. During your guided city tour you explore Red Square enjoying great views of the St. Basil's Cathedral, go inside GUM and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior (if time and availability permit), and visit the territory of the Novodevichy Convent. After the tour you return onboard. The rest of the day is free.
Day 10
Tour of the Kremlin -
Today you go on a guided tour of the Kremlin. During the tour you go inside its terrirory and explore the famous Square of Four Cathedrals, where you visit one of its gorgeous 15th-century cathedrals. After the tour you return to your ship. The rest of the day is free.
Day 11
Departure from Moscow -
After breakfast your driver transfers you to the airport for your flight back home. We wish you a safe flight and hope to work on your future trips!
