My husband and I want to let you know just how much we enjoyed our recent trip to Russia that was booked through you. We were not let down. In fact, we were so impressed by the coordination, the friendliness, the promptness of all involved. Everything outdid our expectations. The hotels were wonderful, the guides were perfect and informative, the ship was just as we expected, and the food was fabulous. We will always remember this trip and thank you so much for your guidance.

“Seldom did art work so much like nature,” wrote fellow writer Thomas Mann about the work of the namesake of this craft. However, he could just as easily have written this about the MS Lev Tolstoy. This Anton Chekhov-class (Type Q-056) passenger ship, built in 1979 by skilled Austrian shipwrights for high-ranking Soviet officials to host foreign dignitaries, features two restaurants and two bars, air conditioning in all guest areas, a beauty salon alongside a sauna, a reading room, and an observation lounge. It spaciously accommodates 250 guests. Although a 30-year-old luxury craft of state, the Tolstoy has been recently refitted with all modern amenities, including full bathrooms, individual room thermostat controls, and refrigerators. Staffed by a crew whose first regard is guest experience, everything aboard this exemplary Russian river craft is first rate, from laundry and medical services to the mouth-watering continental and regional specialties offered daily by the galley.
