9-day Cruise Program from March 4 to March 12, 2011
Program highlights
Start in Greece and land on every famous Island in Eastern Mediterranean for a generous portion of fun.

This program will take you from the world-renowned Pantheon of Athens to the mystical Aphrodite’s Baths on Cyprus.
Dominated by the flat-topped Acropolis, Athens holds enough world wonders to satisfy the most adventurous traveler. See the Pantheon, one of the most famous classical monuments; the temple of Zeus, lord of the gods; the Agora, the center of ancient Athens; and more. For the modern at heart, visit the hub of present-day Athens: the chic area of Kolonaki, a bustling area of designer boutiques, delicious restaurants, and international-class hotels. Athens has exuded charm for centuries, with a lively character that wins over millions of visitors each year. Street markets, vine-covered taverns, souvenir stalls, and ancient monuments will quickly convince you why this city is one the world’s greatest treasures.

You will next visit Mykonos, a traditional Greek island masked as a sophisticated city. Hundreds of tiny chapels dot this blue- and white-washed city, making it a picture of vacation perfection. Find a table on the waterfront and bask in the serenity of sunset over its gorgeous harbor. To tap into that Spring Break spirit, Mykonos is a lively cosmopolitan city with lush beaches and a fantastic nightlife.
The next stop is to Kusadasi. History abounds here, beginning with a tour of nearby Ephesus where you will get a taste of life during the Roman Empire. Stroll down Kusadasi’s marble road, imagining the rumble of chariots racing to the harbor, and take note of architectural masterpieces such as the Library of Celsus. The Great Amphitheater awaits you, a place where the influential St. Paul preached.

Later today you will sail to Patmos. One of the most beautiful and distinct of the Dodecanese Islands, Patmos is best known as the place where St. John received his visions and wrote the Book of Revelation during his exile from the Roman Empire. In Patmos, the inescapable sense of harmony and balance will infuse you with an unmatched sense of relaxation and rejuvenation.
Rhodes is characterized as the Jewel of the Dodecanese islands and enjoys an exceptionally mild climate. With all that is needed on a holiday – beaches, nightlife, culture, scenery, greenery and comfort – it is no wonder Rhodes is such a vacation hotspot. The medieval Old Town of the city has also been declared a World Heritage Site.

Today you will drive along the picturesque southeastern Mediterranean coastline to Lindos, one of the most important ancient fortifications. The entire city is guarded by imposing medieval walls that were constructed by the knights of St. John in the 13th century. On your final day, you will sail to Santorini. The island of Santorini is the most breathtaking of all the Greek Islands. In the town of Fira, white-washed houses, narrow streets, open air-cafés, and glittering boutiques cling to steep ivory cliffs, accessible by cable-car or sheer muscle. Santorini is particularly famous for its golden sunsets, which can be seen best from the small village of Oia on the northern tip of the island.
This program has been specifically crafted with the Spring Break crowd in mind, combining the best of Europe’s lively nightlife and excitement with the peaceful, rolling tranquility of the Mediterranean. Escape from your usual Spring Break routine and dive into this once-in-a-lifetime vacation!
